Dr. Peggy Kendall
Brief Biographical Background
“Peggy Kendall is an author and national speaker who has a lot to say about how teenagers use technology like text-messaging, Myspace, Instant Messenger, and video games. She is the mother of 3 technology-loving teens and is an Associate Professor in the Communication Studies department at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN where she has been teaching and conducting research for over 20 years.
Dr. Kendall has written two books on teenage use of communication technology, one designed for parents and one for youth pastors. She is also a regular contributor to YouthWorker Journal and travels the country speaking at parent workshops, youth gatherings, and youth leader training forums.
